The relationship that people have not really familiarised themselves with is that of former president Jacob Zuma and EFF leader Julius Malema.

It seemed strange that Malema reached out to Zuma during the Zondo commission era, that was the first time that we got to understand that there is no longer any animosity between the two political leaders.

South Africans would like to assume that there was a point when Zuma and Malema addressed their differences and the misunderstandings were cleared.

And there is the realisation that the unity of these two leaders is necessary, it has been mentioned before that the ones on the outside are intimidated by the unity of Zuma and Malema.

There are obviously a lot of people who thought that there would never be a time when Zuma and Malema sit together and dine. It was made clear that there are no permanent enemies in politics, there can be a contestation of ideologies, but there is an understanding that this is bound to happen.

There are pictures that were shared by Duduzile and it seems like Malema spent quite a lot of time with the former president.

This could be an alliance that we never thought we needed, it is interesting that this is happening right now. The EFF’s timing makes it easy for Malema to be perfectly placed in a position where the ordinary South African can see his efforts.

The work done by the EFF for its people does not go unnoticed and the leaders in the ruling party are aware of the influence of the organisation.

The former president sees the leader that Malema has become and it is unlikely that he would entertain politics that are not in alignment with what he believes in.

The EFF leader still makes time to go and seek wisdom from the former president, one could say that this something crucial because he knows politics very well.
