What’s cooking? Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga’s aide has hinted on demos on highly secured area for the today’s demos in Nairobi at 12pm
ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has now hinted on demos at Harambee Avenue as another venue for the today’s demos which is set to start at 12pm.
Harambee Avenue is a highly secured place and houses the office of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua among other high level offices of the Kenyan government.
Yesterday, the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance had announced to their supporters to converge at Huruma Grounds, Kangemi Grounds and Central Park CBD for the today’s demos and now the ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale is saying that they are also targeting Harambee Avenue.
It should be noted that the government has deployed heavy security in Nairobi and across the country as Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga’s supporters defy government’s orders that the demos are illegal.
Raila yesterday did not appear for the rallies and his whereabouts had remained unknown.
