Omtatah Reveals Amount of Money He Has Been Offered To Withdraw The Case Against The Finance Act

Okiyah Omtatah is the current senator for Busi county in Western Kenya, he got elected to the position last year during the 9th August 2022 general elections.

Apart from being a politician, he is also a well known lawyer who has earned the heart of the people because he fights against any law that he thinks is not for for the common citizen, he does this through filing cases against such laws and the current one has been against the finance act of 2023.

Omtatah has lodged a case against the bill that and a judgement was made yesterday that the bill remains suspended and the chief justice will come up with a bench which will hear the case and give a ruling. This means the implementation of the act remains in limbo until the final determination by the court.
