Slyvanus Osoro is the member of parliament for South Mugirango constituency in Kisii county, he is serving his second term as a member of parliament having being elected first in 2017, during last year’s general elections, he retained his seat using the United Democratic Alliance ticket and he went on to be picked as the national assembly majority whip.
The vocal legislator has attended a United Democratic Alliance grassroots meeting in Kisii lately, he has offered to employ a 25 year old man who he alleges lost his job for allowing him into Gusii stadium.
Osoro has blamed Kisii governor Simba Arati for the sacking, he says that he got word that his vehicles were to be stoned if he came to the stadium, he decided to use a motorbike to the stadium, after getting seat at the stadium, it was when people noticed his presence amd the young man brought a chair and table to him.
Osoro says that the governor relieved off the young man’s duties for allowing him into the stadium without giving information, according to Osoro, he is set to offer a job to the man in his office of the majority whip.
