James Orengo is the current Siaya governor. Orengo was the senator earlier but in last year’s elections he contested for the gubernatorial seat and he emerged a winner.
Orengo has been an Azimio La Umoja One Kenya supporter and he is a close ally of Raila Amollo Odinga.
According to the People Daily, yesterday, Orengo accompanied by other leaders attended a church service at St. Paul’s Lihanda ACK Church in Gem Constituency.
It is here when Orengo was given a chance to speak, he went ahead and spoke about the 2023 finance bill. He accused President William Samoei Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government of using its numerical power to pass the finance bill against the wishes of many people in the country.
Orengo didn’t stop at that point as he alleged that President Ruto’s dictatorship style which he is embracing could be the beginning of his dad.
