A day after being saved by senators from Impeachment, Siaya deputy governor Oduol is allegedly facing another woe as per the latest reports.
As reported by NTV Kenya, Siaya ward representative today filed a petition in court seeking orders to to find the embattled deputy governor unfit to hold public office.
According to the report, the MCAs are in line with ad hoc committee report that Oduol is guilty of misusing public funds in the name of renovating hia office.
” More Woes For Siaya DG:Siaya MCAs file a petition against deputy governor William Oduol seeking orders to find the DG unfit to hold public office”, the report intimates.
This comes after Kenya Kwanza’s affiliated senators saved Oduol from Impeachment motion that was raised by Siaya county committee.Oduol was accused of buying a chair for a whopping ksh 1.12 million.
However in an evening statement, Oduol revealed he will seek forgiveness from his boss James Orengo and work together for the sake of Siaya residents.
On the other side, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition today held their public rally at Kamukunji grounds where they resolved to announce the return of mass action demonstrations on 7th July.
Speaking, the former prime minister Raila Odinga noted that Ruto’s government has failed to listen to their demands and therefore time to show them real action.
