Today marks the first day since President William Arap Samoei Ruto signed the finance bill into law bringing about several reactions from people. As this takes place Raila Amollo Odinga is expected to engage his supporters in a rally at Kamkunji this afternoon immediately he lands at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
Surprisingly, the session at Kamkunji grounds has kicked off in the absence of Raila Amollo Odinga. Present in the meeting currently are the former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalmwa, NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua and Roots party leader Wajackoya among other political leaders allied to Raila are present in the podium.
The MC of the event has been heard introducing the Members of County Assembly ( MCA) while making remarks about the whereabouts of Raila Odinga said that those who are asking former Prime minister should not worry as he is yet to arrive to the ground for the rally.
The senior opposition leaders are already waiting for Raila Odinga while Kalonzo Musyoka is also missing in the meeting.
