Eight regional commissioners drawn from all the regions in the Republic of Kenya today visited the head of state President William ruto for a meeting to discuss matters of national security.
The meeting today was also attended by the deputy president and the cabinet secretary in charge of the national interior together with his principal secretary.
According to the cabinet secretary President William ruto is committed to ensuring that the security of the nation is top-notch vowing to dismantle any criminal gangs and formations that have been causing havoc in different parts of the country.
The head of state for the issuing a warning to the team that they should not engage in politics but remain neutral and serve Kenyans diligently, noting that the political class will be dealt with politically.
This was the first time that President William ruto is hosting the team at a state house after the appointment by the cabinet secretary a few months ago when he took office.
