Business Operations Associate-Fixed Term Contract   (2100006J)

Job Purpose and Key responsibilities

Job Purpose:
Responsible for facilitating efficient funds/portfolio administration, cash flow processing, document  management, and reporting to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and effective customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities
1.    Reviewing receipts for money received and complied to 
2.    Review switch, redemptions and transfer instructions received from clients
3.    Maintaining a record of all redemptions, switches and transfers.
4.    Reconciliation of withdrawals
5.    Review of all customer contact/interactions in the system escalated to the operations group
6.    Update of corporate actions 
7.    Daily update of income distribution transactions for unit trust funds
8.    Daily Cash reconciliation between custody and fund manager and making follow ups with custodians on reconciliation items
9.    Preparation of Management Reports; Bank Exposure, Weekly and Monthly AUM
10.    Preparation of Trustees, RBA and CMA reports (Quarterly)
11.    Preparation of client reports (Quarterly and monthly)
12.    Calculation of Money Market Yield and Unit Trust Price and weekly portfolio performance
13.    Daily Reporting of Valuations Reports to third parties and publishing of Unit trust prices.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  •  2-4 years’ experience in a similar position 
  • Professional certification in accounting (CPA part 2)
