Open Positions:
Caretaker
The Caretaker will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the Institute’s facilities. This includes managing cleaning services, ensuring security, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety across the campus. The Caretaker will also handle minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve any significant facility issues, ensuring a conducive environment for both staff and students.
Driver III
The Driver will provide reliable and safe transportation services to the Institute’s staff, faculty, and visitors. This role includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness, ensuring the safety of passengers, conducting routine checks, and reporting any mechanical issues to the relevant department. The Driver will also support logistical tasks, such as transporting documents and materials between departments.
Plumber II
The Plumber will perform a variety of skilled plumbing tasks, including installing, repairing, and maintaining the Institute’s plumbing systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with other maintenance staff to maintain optimal campus operations.
Electrician
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the Institute. This includes performing inspections, troubleshooting electrical problems, and ensuring all electrical systems comply with safety standards. The Electrician will also assist in designing and implementing energy-efficient electrical solutions to support sustainable campus operations.
Assistant Housekeeper I
The Assistant Housekeeper will support the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all Institute facilities. Responsibilities include overseeing daily cleaning routines, managing housekeeping supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The Assistant Housekeeper will also coordinate with the Caretaker to address any facility-related concerns.
Estate/Maintenance Officer I
The Estate/Maintenance Officer will oversee the maintenance and repair of the Institute’s buildings and grounds. This role involves managing the upkeep of facilities, coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising the maintenance team, and liaising with external contractors for major repair works. The Officer will also be responsible for planning and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure the smooth operation of the campus infrastructure.
Technologist II
The Technologist will provide technical support and expertise in laboratory and research activities. This includes managing laboratory equipment, supporting experimental setups, assisting in the preparation of research materials, and maintaining a safe and compliant lab environment. The Technologist will also collaborate with faculty and researchers to ensure the successful execution of scientific experiments and projects.
Senior Technologist I
The Senior Technologist will take a leading role in managing and coordinating the Institute’s advanced research laboratories and facilities. Responsibilities include overseeing the installation and maintenance of complex scientific equipment, training junior staff and students, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Senior Technologist will also contribute to the development of innovative research methodologies and support faculty-led research projects.
Corporate Communication Officer II
The Corporate Communication Officer will manage the Institute’s internal and external communications, enhancing its visibility and reputation. This role involves developing and implementing communication strategies, managing social media channels, writing press releases and newsletters, and coordinating public relations activities. The Officer will work closely with various departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging aligned with the Institute’s mission and values.
Finance and Accounts Officer II
The Finance and Accounts Officer will support the financial management and reporting functions of the Institute. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. The Officer will also assist in financial planning and analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
