Available Internship Positions:
- Intern – Supply Chain Management
As an intern in the Supply Chain Management department, you will be involved in the end-to-end processes of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations. You will assist in the preparation of procurement plans, manage inventory records, support vendor management activities, and participate in the evaluation of suppliers. This role will provide a comprehensive understanding of the public procurement process and the principles of effective supply chain management in a regulatory environment. - Intern – Information Communication Technology (ICT)
The ICT internship provides a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and support the CAK’s digital transformation initiatives. Interns will assist in maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end-users, and contributing to various ICT projects. This role will also involve assisting with cybersecurity measures, data management, and ensuring smooth operation of the Authority’s IT infrastructure. Gain hands-on experience in an ever-evolving field, learning from experts and participating in the development of innovative digital solutions. - Intern – Enforcement and Compliance
As an intern in the Enforcement and Compliance department, you will support the team in investigating and analyzing cases related to anti-competitive practices. You will be involved in data collection, legal research, case analysis, and drafting reports. This position offers a rare opportunity to understand the regulatory framework governing competition law in Kenya, gain exposure to legal processes, and contribute to promoting compliance with the competition regulations. - Intern – Planning, Policy and Research (Registry Unit)
Interns in this department will support the registry unit in organizing, maintaining, and managing documents and records essential for the Authority’s operations. You will assist in policy analysis, research initiatives, and data management to support decision-making processes. This role offers a great learning experience in research methodologies, data analysis, policy formulation, and document management in a dynamic regulatory environment. - Intern – Legal Services
The Legal Services internship offers a unique opportunity for law graduates to gain hands-on experience in the field of competition law and consumer protection. Interns will assist in conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, drafting advisory opinions, and supporting ongoing legal cases. This position provides exposure to various legal aspects of competition, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as advocacy for fair trade practices. - Intern – Consumer Protection
As an intern in the Consumer Protection department, you will work closely with the team to address consumer complaints, conduct market surveillance, and ensure compliance with consumer protection laws. You will assist in data analysis, prepare reports, and participate in consumer awareness campaigns. This role provides an excellent opportunity to understand consumer rights and protection mechanisms and to actively contribute to initiatives aimed at safeguarding consumer welfare.
