According to reports, the man was found to be carrying two sachets believed to contain drugs while being questioned by the show’s team. According to Mavela Masondo, a representative of the Gauteng police department, a murder case has since been filed and is now undergoing a thorough investigation.

Last week, the suspect, identified as Robert “Kicks” Varrie, was taken into custody by the Sizokuthola team and members of the Gauteng Patrolmen unit, commonly referred to as Amapanyaza. Eyewitnesses claim that Varrie’s partner, Eunice Raadt, came back home to discover her companion lying motionless on the ground. Hearing cries emanating from within the dwelling, she saw several masked individuals pinning down her significant other and pressuring him to divulge details about his purported involvement in the illicit drug trade. Subsequently, the perpetrators allegedly compelled him to ingest substances and subjected him to brutality before covering his face with a plastic bag and asphyxiating him with pepper spray.

Additionally, residents living near the crime scene have accused the Sizokuthola team of employing violent tactics against innocent civilians. One inhabitant recounted how the crew raided her domicile, conducted a search, stripped her naked, and hurled threats her way if she failed to collaborate. In light of these developments, many observers are calling for a comprehensive examination into the program’s methods and connections with law enforcement bodies.
