Nowadays, a lot of men have resorted to rape because they think if the can’t get ease access to the girl, they can forcefully get her. Rape in South Africa remains a deeply concerning issue, with alarmingly high rates that have garnered national and international attention. It is a pervasive problem that affects individuals across all genders, ages, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Factors contributing to this issue include gender inequality, patriarchal norms, a history of violence, and a lack of effective law enforcement and prosecution. The consequences of rape are devastating, leaving survivors traumatized and in need of comprehensive support services.
Speaking of which, on the season21 episode25 of the #Rea Tsotella show which airs on Moja Love. A lady has openly discussed on the live show what she’s been enduring and going through over the years. The lady openly exposed her father for the unimaginable things a father would do to his daughter. The host of the show asked her why she wrote to them, she replied ‘I wrote to you because my father has been abusing me for years. She says her father has been raping her and would beat her up if she refused. She added ‘when I refuse to sleep with him, he’d beat me up and undress me by force’. The lady expressed how her father use to beat her and rape her at the same time. The host of the show asked when last it happened, she answered “it happened in April of this year “. The host was left speechless and was left with a question ‘This year?’ . The host went on to ask her if he really beats her up then rape her while she’s crying. The lady said yes. The host asked the father if he saw any wrong by sleeping with her own daughter. He said he apologized and they asked him to whom? He begged the host not to destroy his reputation as he isn’t destroying his reputation. The man further said that they used protection.
The man has committed an unforgivable crime which should not be overlooked. He has sinned against mother earth and surely he will face the wrath. What was he thinking to have thought about sleeping with his daughter? Is it a witchcraft, because I don’t know how to comprehend this. He didn’t did it once or twice, he did it over and over and over.
