Over the past weeks there has been a growing sentiment amongst South Africans that Julius Malema is the right man for the job, Following his impressive speech at the EFF’s 10th anniversary celebration held in Soccer city.
Ever since Malema started the EFF he has gained momentum with each and every passing elections, and it seems that now is his last opportunity to claim the one thing that has alluded him all these years. Recently the EFF leader raised a lot of eyebrows when he fired Vusi Khoza and justified it by saying that the marching orders were warranted, after the individual failed to fill 20 buses with EFF supporters on the day of the 10th anniversary; however… inside sources claim that the cause was entirely something else.
According to the party’s inside sources…there is a brewing fight for power and Vusi Khoza was spearheading it, attempting to overthrow Julius Malema in favour of Floyd Shibambu:
“Vusi Khoza was the target and the rest were just victims. Malema’s autocratic rule is working in favour of the party but for how long? We know that the reason why Vusi Khoza was fired is because he led a campaign to have Floyd Shibambu challenging Malema for the CIC position in the next conference” said Azania.
While a lot of South Africans are hyped that Malema is the only solution to their current problems, within the party brews the fight to overthrow Julius Malema as the CIC.
During a podcast and chill with Macg episode, the CIC did say that he would step down when he felt that it was time to make way for someone more fitting, but it seems like that day gets further and further with each and every passing day.
