At some point during the strong winds, the security started moving towards Ramaphosa but he instructed them to move back. Now, there is an iconic speech that was delivered by the EFF leader Julius Malema during Mama Winnie Mandela’s memorial service.

In the speech, Malema asked the late struggle icon to give them the signal to know what needs to be done, moving forward.

The phrase has been used a lot on social media and one person brought it up again when the video of Ramaphosa started making rounds on X. People saw the video where the president is delivering a speech while there was strong wind.

One person tagged Malema on X and asked him in a tweet if what was happening during Ramaphosa’s speech was a signal. This was obviously a joke and more people were just making fun of what happened to Ramaphosa.
