Dr Nandipha Magudumane the woman that took part in the escape of Bester. She claims that she was forced to leave the country, by her boyfriend on the statement she released last week.
In court behind Dr Nandipha Magudumane. They are supporting the family of Katlego Bereng, the young man’s remainings which were discovered in the cell were the fugitive was kept in prison. His body was used as a disguise until the NPA discovered that it wasn’t Bester body.
Today, 30 Aug 2023, she appears in court for the a bail application. Dr Nandipha helped her boyfriend, and have a hand in the escape of Bester from Mangaung Correctional Service. apperently on the statement she released she claims that she was forced to leave the country.
Allegedly, the first time Bester Thabo showed up in court not virtually. They were seen holding hands and embracing each other, showing that they have a close relationship. Today the woman, claims that she was forced out of the country when Bester escaped from prison fled to Tanzania with Nandipha.
In the affidavit and statement that was read yesterday indicates that she was forced to leave the country. Fled in March with the fugitive where they ended up getting arrested and deported back to SA.
It was also indicated that on that morning when she dropped off her kids, she had no idea she would not be coming back to take them home. She says the fugitive threatened her and made her get into the vehicle drive (Porch).
Dr Nandipha says she left the country being forced by her boyfriend Thabo.
