Strange things have already happened in the life of Busisiwe Mkhwebane.The section 194 inquiry adopted its final report recommending Mkhwebane’s permanent removal despite the pleas for leniency by some parties.

On Tuesday the final report was adopted by the committy of enquiry mkhwebane’s guilty report was not partly used.
Mkhwebane’s lawyer had asked for more time to get familiar with the new proceedings that were used but none of that mattered as the decision was taken despite that pledge.

“You know my position that l don’t support the impeachment of the public protector ,so l want to make a last,desperate representation to the committee that we should consider a lesser penalty.”
