President William Samoei Ruto on Wednesday continued with his Mt Kénya region tour where he visited Kiambu county. The head of state launched various development projects in Kiambu town including roads, markets, and water.
During his tour in Kiambu County, President Ruto was accompanied by his close allies from Kenya’s Kwanza government including Trade CS Moses Kuria, Kiambu governor Kimani Wamatangi, and DP Gachagua among other leaders from the region.
While addressing residents of Thika Town, Trade Cabinet Secretary Hon Moses Kuria urged President William Samoei Ruto to ensure that there are no anti-government protests organized by Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga in the future.
Moses Kuria stated that he works best when the Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga is not holding anti-government protests. He stated that his role as Trade Cabinet Secretary is so crucial that he is usually affected when the opposition holds protests.
He further assured residents of Thika and Kiambu counties that he will ensure that President William Samoei Ruto’s administration bought more, industries, EPZ zones, and markets in the Mt Kenya region especially Kiambu county in the coming days
