Nandi County Senator Hon Samson Cherargei has continued his online onslaught against Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga alleging that there are some Non-Governmental Organizations funding his anti-government rallies and protests.
While taking to his Twitter account, the vocal lawmaker said that they are going to name the NGOs funding the opposition anti-government rallies. He added that the main aim of such NGOs is to destabilize President Rutos’s government.
The vocal legislator also added that the former Prime Minister is not above the law. He said that if he continues with his anti-government protests, he will be arrested by the police and charged in a court of law.
“The Sponsors of Tinga/Azimio-OKA are known we shall name including some NGOs to destabilize the government” Read part of his tweet.
Senator Cherargei was speaking after Raila Odinga walked into the Nairobi Central Business District after boarding a matatu to town. Raila Odinga engaged residents on different issues ahead of the upcoming protest that has been scheduled for Wednesday across the country.
All attention will now focus on the Government and the opposition to see what will transpire on Wednesday as far as anti-government protests are concerned.
