Mercy Tarus a brave girl from Uasin Gichu has continued to gain more admiration following her stand to demand for the reimbursement of their money following a flopped scholarship trip to Canada. The young Tarus has been leading protest in Eldoret Town and her remarks during a town hall meeting with the leadership of the county caught the attention of Kenyans.
Following that development, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina proposed to Mercy Tarus to contact him so that they can have a talk for a possible assistance.
“Mercy Tarus I would like you to work for me… speak your heart …the future belongs to candid youth! Let’s talk.” Senator Ledama Olekina.
The brave girl however hit back at the senator where she asked him to talk with his fellow leader to refund the money in totality so that they can have a talk.
“Mr. Ledama, before we can further this conversation, Talk to your fellow Senators to bring the Uasin Gishu County Government to book and compel them to REFUND rightfully hard-earned money to the Citizens of Kenya. Maybe then, we can talk. Otherwise, I have nothing more to say.” Mercy Tarus.
Her rejoinder has however exited some people including the former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo who hailed Mercy for her bravery. Kabogo went ahead to claim that Mercy stands a chance of being the next Uasin Gishu county senator.
“This lady @thisafricangirl will definitely be the next senator Uasin Gichu County. Go lady Go, fix this stuff from inside. You make many people proud, especially in Eldoret.” William Kabogo.
