They attended a high-profile meeting in Nakuru as Jubilee Party top leaders and resolved to back the move on bipartisan negotiations, which is why they have been pressing to be included in the conversations, according to former Muranga County Women representative Hon. Sabina Chege.
She sent an appeal to the President Hon. William Samoei Ruto and the former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga pleading with them to rethink appointing Jubilee Party leaders to the highest positions because they are ineligible while supporting peaceful negotiations.
She declared that the struggle for reforms will continue since only they could bring about long-lasting answers to the nation’s political instability.She advised all the leaders to unite in order to foster peace since it is now time to set aside their disagreements and concentrate on transformation by seeking the Lord’s advice. She made it clear that the clergy will keep up their efforts to promote peace.
