News24 hits back to People’s criticisms on their article about Paul Mashatile Unmasked

News24 revealed that the Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Paul Mashatile lived a life of luxury in expensive homes, owned by businesspeople who benefitted from state contracts.

They accuse him of having close relationships with the tenderpreneurs whom unfortunately are taken as corrupt such as Mr Edwin Sodi.

Deputy President Paul Mashatile broke his silence following a report by News24 that he was a beneficiary of persons who benefited from state capture.

After the deputy president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Paul Mashatile denied what News24 is accusing him of, and people lambasted News24, today the newspaper hits back to the people’s criticisms.

According to the News24, “The problem is not that the Deputy President lives a lavish life, but we take issue with the allegation that he lives a life of luxury that is bankrolled by verifiably corrupt actors who have bled the state and the people of resources for their personal benefit”.
