The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Cabinet Secretary Hon Eliud Owalo is a man in hot soup following his remarks during a live interview at Citizen TV today.

Speaking during the JKLive show alongside journalist Jeff Koinange, the CS openly took a deep dig on all media stations, accusing them of still being in denial from the last presidential elections.

“The media is still facing hangover from last year’s elections,” the CS said.

Although not mentioning directly, Mr Owalo affirmed that the media was not impartial during the 2022 poll as they openly showed support to the Azimio La Umoja One-Kenya coalition boss Raila Odinga over the now President, Dr William Ruto.

On that regard and the recent happenings where Ruto’s men like CS Moses Kuria attacked the media, Owalo admitted that the media is indeed biased. He argued that major media stations are still in denial that the candidate they supported didn’t emerge victorious in the last polls.

“The media was not impartial at all during the last election. It seems that the media up to today has still not accepted that the candidate they supported in the last election did not win,” he added.
