Citizen TV has this evening left Kenyans speculating that the disappearance of former Treasury Official Hon Tom Oside a close ally of President William Ruto could be related to a deal gone sour case.
This is after preliminary reports by DCI have revealed that Tom Osinde days before he was reported missing had called 2 of his farm workers (who are now being treated as key suspects) and sent one of them to Kericho where he was to deliver some amount of money to unnamed businesswoman.
Also, Citizen TV has established that DCI investigations indicate that Julius Mugoiri one of the farm workers who was sent to deliver the money to the businesswoman in Kericho didn’t return on the Same day despite being on firm instructions from the Boss. Instead, Julius chose to proceed with his journey to his Rural home in Kisii County before the Car was found the following day vandalized and Dumped in Narok County.
According to Citizen Tv, DCI want to establish how and Why Julius Mugoiri who is unhurt failed to drive back to Ongata Rongai from Kericho on the Same day as instructed and how or rather what happened to a point that the Vandalized Car had blood stains when it was being discovered.
All the same, none of the Government officials has broke their silence even though Tom Oside was Ruto’s Aide by the fact that his late Brother Ken Oside used to work at the office of Deputy President between 2014 and 2022 when he also died.
