Through a statement issued this afternoon, the leadership of Azimio led by the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have told off President William Ruto and even accused him of launching former President Uhuru’s projects.
The sentiments come just days after the President’s five day tour of the Mt. Kenya region where the head of state launched various Development projects.
In defence of President William Ruto, Lawyer Miguna has stated it’s the work of the President to to ensure that he supervises, he completes and even inaugurate projects including those started by the previous administration as the President.
According to Miguna, public projects don’t belong to former President Uhuru Kenyatta or even President William Ruto because they are funded by public funds this within his role as President to ensure every project is complete whether his or that or the previous administration.
“Public projects neither belong to Uhuru Kenyatta nor president William Ruto. They are constructed using public funds. President Ruto has a positive duty to supervise, complete and inaugurate projects started before he became president.” Stated the popular Lawyer.
