While addressing residents of Vihiga county, former Ndaragwa constituency Member of Parliament Hon Jeremiah Kioni informed Mt Kénya residents that they dug their own graves after voting for President William Samoei Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza administration.

Jeremiah Kioni said that President Ruto has turned his back on the Mt Kenya region as he cannot address their demands. The former lawmaker stated that the Mt Kénya region has currently dug their own grave and they cannot get out of it. Kioni further wanted the Western Kenya residents not to fall into the trap of President Ruto the way Mt Kénya region was swayed.
