Former Uhuru’s ADC Peter Mbogo was the man in charge of the military parade at the jomo kenyatta International Airport on Monday afternoon when the fifth president from Africa jetted into the country for a service that is currently ongoing at the kenyatta international convention centre.
According to an update by the cabinet secretary in charge of the foreign affairs, he made his way to the airport to pick the president of Eritrea, who jetted into the country to attend to the summit.
Isaiah Afwerki receiving a VIP treatment including a red carpet and a military parade the moment he arrived with his presidential airplane, just a few hours after several other heads of state made their way to the country for the event.
He is part of a delegation consisting of heads of state that will attend today’s preliminary session that brings together leaders across the continent to discuss matters of climate in the continent.
