Amy Hart is engaged! The Love Island star reveal boyfriend Sam Rason has proposed during surprise public proposal at the theatre
Amy Hart has confirmed her engagement to Sam Rason after he proposed during a night out in London.
The 31-year-old reality star – who shot to fame when she appeared on Love Island in 2019 – welcomed her son Stanley with boyfriend Sam Rason, 33, in March.
And she was left in shock when her significant other got down on one knee during a glitzy surprise proposal at a theatre.
Quoting a lyric from I’ll Be Here – a number from obscure 9/11 musical Ordinary Days – avid musical theatre fan Amy announced her engagement with Instagram followers on Monday.
She wrote: ‘And he said…hey, whatcha doin’ the rest of your life? Well and truly the biggest surprise ever We are so happy (literally thought I was watching show rehearsals hence why I have no shoes on).’

Amy then shared an image of herself on stage with Sam to her Instagram Stories, where she admitted that she was “too stunned to speak” so ended up in tears.
She wrote: “‘he woman was so too stunned to speak so she nervously laughed and cried a bit.’
Amy was inundated with congratulatory messages from fellow famous faces, with Geordie Shore legend Vicky Pattison writing: ‘Congratulations gorgeous!!! This is beautiful.
West End star Lucie Jones – who is known for her roles in Wicked and Waitress – added: ‘Ahhhhh amazing congratulations!!!’
Actress Alice Fearn – who played Elphaba in Wicked before Lucie took over for her own stint – wrote: ‘Couldn’t be happier for you sweetheart.
Elsewhere YouTube star Louise Pentland posted: ‘Omg congratulations’ and emblazoned her comment with a series of clapping emojis.
In a further update, the happy couple could be seen enjoying glasses of champagne where occasional Loose Women star Amy admitted that she is normally aware of everything that goes on but everything had been set up so that she had no clue.
She said: ‘So yeah, fiance! There was no floors being polished, It was so that I didn’t run into Sam when he got on the ship, there was no new trailers being set.

Amy found fame on the 2019 series of Love Island where she famously left the villa after getting dumped by her ‘half boyfriend’ Curtis Pritchard.
The beauty first went official with beau Sam in March 2022 and the couple announced they were expecting their first child together on an episode of Loose Women back in August 2022.
She explained that after sharing her fertility journey with the show in the past, it was: ‘the only place to announce I’m pregnant’, before taking to Instagram to release snaps of her baby scan.
Amy has openly documented undergoing three rounds of eggs freezing – two of which were successful and resulted in 12 eggs being frozen at a cost of £12,000.
However, she revealed that despite her fertility concerns she had conceived naturally, and that the news came as a surprise as it was ‘unplanned’.
