Azimio leader Raila Odinga has been criticized by the Kenya Kwanza arm over his latest call’s. The ODM party leader recently made a call to hso followers to stop paying taxes in a defiance move that he feels will put pressure on the government. He has also called for demonstrations, picketing and protest’s against the government.
But National Assembly deputy majority leader Owen Baya said that the opposition’s call to starve Ruto’s government of fund’s at such a time when the citizen’s need project’s is unpatriotic and unrealistic. He adds that those call’s are dead on arrival. That paying taxes is a personal thing and what they were asking people to enforce is something that should be done at personal level.
Baya comments that Azimio seems to have run out of idea’s needed to put the government in check. For Azimio they seem to have manu ideas together that they want to follow at the same time, and probably their major undoing.
