Redhead St, Doolandella: Horror as two bodies are found inside a home in suspected domestic violence attack

A man and a woman have been found dead in a home in Brisbane’s south-west, where police suspect the incident was domestic violence.

Emergency services were called to an address in Redhead St, Doolandella, after the gruesome discovery was reported at around 7pm on Tuesday.

A man dressed in a blue forensic suit was later led away from the property by detectives.

A second man was chased away from the scene.

It is believed the man and woman, both in their 30s, knew each other, and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

Dozens of police officers remained at the scene late Tuesday night, knocking on neighbors’ doors as forensic officers searched the property for evidence.

Shocked neighbors told us Courier mail that they did not remember hearing any disturbances at the address and had no idea of ​​the grim discovery until they saw several police and ambulances on the street.

‘But there were clearly people there with cars everywhere and on rubbish nights the rubbish bins are always outside.’

Neighbor Bene Joseph told the ABC the residents of the house were ‘very quiet’.

“There’s not a lot of coming and going, you would drive by and notice there are more trucks and cars in the yard,” she said.

Ms Joseph said she felt “overwhelmed” and shocked.

“It’s really close to home, literally, and I have a young child, so it makes you think, who’s really close to you,” she said.
