Bahati, Diana address viral photoshopped family portrait

Content creators Diana Marua and Bahati have broken their silence regarding the manipulated family portrait that has been circulating on the internet.

The couple has chosen not to be dismayed by the situation, instead using it as an opportunity to leverage the attention for their own gain.

Taking to their respective social media platforms, the power couple expressed their intentions to capitalize on the situation noting that they are the trendsetters.

“We are The Bahati’s… We are the news makers!!! Leo wanasemaje???” they shared.

What initially began as a seemingly innocent family photo soon transformed into a source of ridicule, courtesy of a photoshopped image featuring well-known male celebrities.

These altered images insinuated that the celebrities might have a connection to Diana’s children.

The rumours gained attention, particularly around Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama, who was depicted in the manipulated image with the couple’s adopted son, Morgan Bahati.

Wanyama was quick to respond to this long-standing rumours issuing a stern warning.

“This foolishness needs to stop now!” Wanyama wrote.

The rumour about Diana and the footballer being involved romantically stems from an old photo that the two posed took long before Diana was married to Bahati.

Diana, Bahati adopt Morgan

Morgan Bahati was adopted by Bahati when he was just two years old in 2014 and has since been a part of the family.

The couple has three children of their own; Heaven, Majesty and their youngest Malaika.
