Salasya recounts surviving 3 am accident in forest 2 months before elections

Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya has recounted surviving a 3 am serious crash in a forest two months before the last general elections.

Additionally, the DAP-K lawmaker disclosed that, during campaigns, politicians go through a lot of challenges.

Salasya further stated that the horrifying experience has influenced his spiritual life, adding that he would never leave the house without praying.

“God is faithful indeed. If there are hard times for a politician (it is) during campaigns. A lot happens. We survived a very dangerous accident at 3 am just 2 months before the election in the forest. When the vehicle l**********l I started calling upon Jesus loudly when we had lost hope and something happened instantly when the vehicle hit a big tree,” Salasya narrated.

“This is the reason I said I would never leave the house without making my prayer before I leave the house.”
