Amy Schumer’s Hulu series Life & Beth CANCELED after its two season run leaving fans devastated

Hulu has canceled Amy Schumer’s series Life & Beth.

The 43-year-old Unfrosted star, who recently made the rare move to meet her mother after years of drama, appeared on the comedy series as a lead character before it was canceled after two seasons.

The final season wrapped in February but failed to make it onto the Nielsen streaming chart, according to Deadline.

The New York native took over the series as executive producer, writer and director, while also starring in the lead role.

It followed Schumer’s character Beth, who, after an “unexpected incident,” “has flashbacks to her teenage self (played by Violet Young) and learns how she became who she is and who she wants to be,” according to IMDb.

Other actors in the comedy included Susannah Flood, Michael Cera, Kevin Cane, Michael Rappaport, Rosebud Baker and LaVar Walker.

Life & Beth was produced by Fifth Season, which also handled international sales of the series.

Kevin Kane, Daniel Powell and Ryan McFaul served as executive producers on the series, alongside the Trainwreck star.

The first season debuted on Hulu in March 2022 and was renewed for a second season after receiving positive reviews from fans at the time.

The second season premiered on February 16, with all 10 episodes airing on the streamer at once.

Fans were devastated by the show’s cancellation and expressed their dismay on the program’s social media pages.

“It’s a shame because I loved season one…” one fan wrote in a recent post. Referring to the show’s final episode, one fan said, “This is hands down one of the best episodes of a series I’ve ever seen!!!”

“It’s not an autobiographical series, but it’s definitely inspired by my real life,” she said during the interview.

The starlet appeared in films including ‘Snatched (2017), I Feel Pretty (2018), Trolls Band Together (2023) and The Humans (2021).

Schumer is set to star in the upcoming Netflix series Kinda Pregnant, a romantic comedy starring Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey and Damon Wayans Jr.
