Zim Tenderprenuer, Mike Chimombe, fell from prison van in viral pictures.
The Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development gave Mike Chimombe and Mose Mpofu’s company, Blackdeck Livestock and Poultry, a US$80 million contract to supply goats at US$138.80 each.
The Ministry of Finance happily paid them a US$40 million advance.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission went to the Registrar of Companies and found that the company Blackdeck Livestock and Poultry does not exist. Rather, there is a Blackdeck Private Limited, registered in 2015, owned by Moses Mpofu and Phineas Hazvinei Kabisira.
So much disregard for hard-earned taxpayers’ money…
