Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African cricketer, Keshav Maharaj, took the blessings of Prabhu Shri Ram.
Ahead of the Ram Temple’s consecration on January 22nd, Maharaj shared a video on Instagram and stated:
“I want to wish Mahesh Kumar (Consul General of India in Johannesburg) and the entire Indian community in South Africa all the best for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodha. May it bring peace, harmony and spiritual enlightenment to one and all.”
A Pran Pratishtha is a rite by which a temple consecrates a murti. Hymns and mantras are recited to welcome the deity as the temple resident. The event also marks the first time the murti’s eye is opened for the first time.
Former and active cricketers including the likes of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble were seen at the event.
