Durban Gqom music group Ama Chillaz has finally agreed to let Elevators use their beat on Babes Wodumo’s new song titled Mastende.

This comes after Ama Chillaz suspected Elevators of stealing a beat that belongs to them and offered it to Babes without their permission. Ama Chillaz music group member Bongokuhle ‘Butho’ Ngcobo revealed that they have agreed to do a new song with Elevators and gave the old one to Babes Wodumo.

Butho said Elevators regretted what they did and so they promised them a recording session for a new song.

‘We were supposed to meet up with Elevators group at Workshop police station so that they would pay us back our money, we waited but they never showed up. They called and asked us to agree to record a new song with a different beat in their studio because Babes has used the other one and it is already making waves on social media.’
