Revisiting Steenhuisen’s scholary history, it is known that he attended Northwood Boys High School which is located in Kwa-Zulu Natal. According to records, the school produced several individuals who are respected in the careers.

One on the list is the soccer icon, Neil Robert Tovey OIS. One didn’t need to be a soccer fan to know Neil Tovey (61), his name spoke for itself on the soccer field playing for Kaizer Chiefs and the national team, Bafana Bafana. During his playing times, he was nicknamed ‘Mokoko’ which a Pedi name meaning, ‘cock’.

Another sports icon is none than the former cricketer and cricket commentator, Shaun Maclean Pollock OIS. Pollock (50) has cemented his name in his respective by leading the Proteas as their captain during his player times.

Hailing from a family of respected cricketers, it is no surprise that Pollock became the best all-rounder in the history of cricket.
