Politics tends to give one a sense of how the real world really works and if we look at things from this particular lens, we find it necessary to understand politics.
We have been following the story about what has been happening in Niger and this has obviously meant that a lot of people outside the country would give their reactions.
As you probably know, it was recently revealed by some publications that the president of the Economic Community of West African States ordered the deployment of ECOWAS standby force to restore the constitutional order in Niger.
There are troops that were expected to deploy to Niger. There have been a lot of ways to explain what a lot of this entails, it is an actually unfortunate situation.
African nations are at each other’s throats and people are very much aware of who stands to gain from this, it is almost as if there is no unity against imperialism.
The EFF Commissar, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi expressed how feels about what is happening and he simply mentioned that this is just heartbreaking.
It really is heartbreaking and a lot of us can just watch everything unfold and it is not a surprise that France and the United States are a huge part of the discussion that is happening right now.
There are going to be more updates as the day goes and it is good to get different perspectives on this whole thing.
People are calling for peace and if you have been going through Ndlozi’s Twitter account, then you would have noticed that he was reposting a lot of news that had to do with the situation.
This gave us an idea of what he has been following recently, these are matters that we should be concerned about and the Commissar made sure that he made people aware of the seriousness of the matter.
