Economic Freedom Fighters MP Mzwanele Manyi later lectured Thuthukile Zuma on the formation of the African National Congress.
This came after Zuma’s daughter showed that she did not know how the ruling ANC party was formed and what its role was. He also tried to bring Mzwanele Manyi back to the African National Congress.
However, Mzwanele Manyi is not having it. He said that the ruling party has become the shadow of the former as those who do not seem to understand the ideology of the party have hijacked them.
“Let us help you. The ANC was formed voluntarily. Its formation was a response to the British and the Boers being removed from the union of South Africa. Since then, he has been fighting unsuccessfully to be included. So, they are talking about economic matters including things,” said Mzwanele Manyi. Zuma’s daughter said that Manyi did himself a disservice by going to see the Economic Freedom Fighters, saying that it was people who were expelled from the ANC that formed the EFF.
“The EFF was founded by the people who were expelled from the ANC. They never left by choice. The ANC is the only party formed voluntarily and for the sole purpose of unity and liberating Africans from oppression. Objective truth cannot be abandoned because of personal dissatisfaction,” he said.
Thuthukile Zuma is the daughter of minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and former president Jacob Zuma. He is a supporter of the African National Congress.
