It is well known that the Economic Freedom Fighters leader and Member of Parliament Mzwanele Manyi was a member of a few parties before joining the fighters. His move to the EFF shocked many people, as they knew him to being a founder of the African Transformation Movement.
What made things worse is when he was forwarded and announced as a Member of Parliament by the EFF. This was a shocking move when we consider that it happened just a few months after he joined the EFF.
Manyi has today left many people talking after he shared a picture of himself wearing a political regalia of both the ANC, ATM and the EFF. He proclaimed the EFF to be an innovative party as he captioned the picture.
“Definition of insanity. If you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result, you are insane. The EFF is an innovative party. The new and different programs include the Tatane cleaning program, adoption of homes (elderly, etc.).” Manyi said, as he encouraged people to register to vote for the EFF.
Some people who came across the pictures called him a chameleon and a flip-flop in the comment section. Others even said that the fighters should consider him as a passenger. “We can therefore conclude that the EFF should consider you to be in transit.”
One user told Manyi that he is apparently doing the same thing by moving from one political home to another. “Consistently jumping from one party to another is to keep doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result.”
Some people questioned Manyi’s decision-making about having a political standpoint. “Have we abandoned the so called ‘Ideological Posture’, you have been talking about?” A social media user responded.
