Former president Jacob Zuma was once arrested on July 2021, and this led to the July unrests which resulted to looting in many provinces in South Africa mostly in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal for more than three days, South Africans demanded that president Jacob Zuma to be released.

Opinions are different as some people are afraid that this can possibly lead to unrests again. This comes after he was seen visiting Victoria Hills last week and later went to Russia with his daughter Duduzile Zuma, this was reported by News24.
