Social media platforms have been a stepping stone to fame for a lot of people and one of them is the young and flamboyant media personality Lasizwe Dambuza. Young sibling to self proclaimed “slay queen” Khanyi Mbau, the young Lasizwe Dambuza has made a name for himself using his social media channel on YouTube.
He started off doing funny skits on YouTube which was when he was first introduced to the social media masses and where he gained a lot of followers for his YouTube channel. As his followers grew, so did his rise to fame and in under five years, he has achieved a lot for himself. He went from YouTube, to being featured in his sister’s reality show to having his own reality shows.
He signed with MTV where we got a chance to dive into his world and see the other side of him. On his reality show we saw how close he was not only with Khanyi Mbau but with his other siblings, especially his older brother Lungile who is always by his side. We also got to see the friendship he had with actor Cedric Fourie with whom he was rumoured to be in a relationship with at the time.
From his reality show we got to see how much of an emotional person he is as he expressed himself and revealed the relationship he had with his sister Khanyi and why they get along so well together. Despite the fact that they are siblings, they both have a lot in common, especially the love of the limelight.
No one can deny that he has done well for himself and even though he is a star, he still cares very much about his fans. It looks like he is doing more than just caring these days as he is making one girl’s wish come true by agreeing to be her matric dance date. Word got to him and he said yes in a stylish way.
With his brother Lungile accompanying him, they went to the girl’s school bearing gifts for the young girl. He gave her a bunch of beautiful flowers and a bracelet. All of this was posted on his social media platforms and from the pictures, you can tell that she is very happy along with the other students who are there to rejoice with her.
