We have seen the reactions regarding this year’s BRICS Summit and people had to give credit to president Cyril Ramaphosa for his input in making this a successful summit.
But, there are also people who mentioned the role that former president Jacob Zuma had during the time when BRICS was not at the forefront as it is now.
Duduzile Zuma had a thing or two to say about what happened and she is still not impressed by what Ramaphosa has been doing.
She emphasised that the one person who should be given his flowers is former president Zuma and this is actually something that people cannot deny.
So, it turns out that Zuma and Ramaphosa had the opportunity for a formal greeting, there is a picture where both of them are seen talking.
However, what is more interesting is what was noticed in the background, when one looks closely, then can see Duduzile. When this particular picture was taken, Zuma’s daughter was in the back and she was also taking a picture.
People had some things to say about this, they wanted to know why Duduzile would be willing to take a picture of Ramaphosa when she always bashes him on Twitter/X.
She would probably say that she was taking pictures of Zuma and Ramaphosa happened to be there when she was doing that. And that might be true because there are many other pictures where the former president is greeting other African leaders.
One can understand what the perception is, this made Duduzile seem like someone who acts like she hates the president when she does not. But you would know that this unlikely if you follow Duduzile, one gets to see all the posts about Ramaphosa where she criticises his leadership.
She has definitely made it clear what she thinks of the president, they might pretend to be doing just fine for the sake of the gala dinner, but we know what is really going on.
