Why does it bug YOU when someone is wearing non authentic/ fake luxury brand items ?

Andile Ncube is a South African television presenter and media personality. He gained popularity through his work in the entertainment industry, hosting various television shows in South Africa. He is also well-known for being a host of one of the biggest soccer show in South Africa know as Soccer Zone.
On his latest post on social media Andile touched on a very sensitive topic which a number of people engaged on. Andile initiated a conversation about people who wear fake luxury brands. He also asked why people get bothered when other people wear these fake items.
This created a heated debate on social media as others were saying people who buy these fake brands want to be seen as people who have money. Others however were saying they would buy these fake clothes not to be seen as people who have money, but they would buy these fake brands because they love the brand but are unable to buy them as they don’t have sufficient money.
This conversation Andile initiated may serve as a reminder to people that a person’s choice of clothing should not be a bother to other people.
