Austrian singer and songwriter, Rose May Alaba has left Nigerians, her fans and social media users buzzing after replying a fan in Yoruba language recently.
It all started when the fan greeted the Austrian and Real Madrid defender sis, Rose May Alaba in Yoruba by tweeting: “Aunty Rose Ekaaro” which is translated in English as ‘Aunty Rose Good morning’.
To this tweet from the fan greeting her in Yoruba, she replied in Yoruba by writing: “Kaaro Aburo” which is translated in English as ‘Good morning younger one’.
This tweet from David Alaba’s sister replying a fan in Yoruba has attracted reactions from her fans, Nigerians and social media users, as some seems surprised, asking if she used Google translator, while some have asked if her brother, David Alaba also understands Yoruba.
A Twitter user wrote: “For real, or you’re using Google translate??”
Another Twitter user wrote: “So you understand Yoruba? Does your brother also understand it?”
