The former Nyeri town member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has urged the Azimio leader Raila Odinga to also quit ODM party if meeting president William Ruto is a crime. He is clear that, the MPs who met president William Ruto are at liberty to do so and they must not be punished.
Wambugu is clear that, the ODM party has demonstrated the highest form of dictatorship and that’s totally unacceptable. He is firm that, Raila meets Ruto whenever he wishes and therefore, it cannot be right for him and wrong for MPs.

Wambugu has warned Raila Odinga to stop fighting his members for such a move might backfire badly. He is firm that, the idea of fighting people who express open dissent to party position is not acceptable.
Wambugu is clear that, the Githunguri member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba opposed the finance Bill 2023 but nothing happened to her. However, those in ODM have been punished unnecessarily by the party.
