Narok county senator Ledama Olekina has told the National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichungwa to stop inciting people that he knows he can not handle if they decide to strike back. Ledama said that if Ichungwa can’t advocate for the respect of the rule of law he should learn to keep quite. He then said that Ichungwa is drunk with power.
“Stop inciting people you can’t handle the consequences…. If you can’t advocate for respect of the rule of law just shut up @KIMANIICHUNGWAH ! You are too drunk with power!” Ledama said.
The attack on the MP by Senator Ledama comes after he said that former president Uhuru Kenyatta is the person sponsoring the Azimio protests. Ichungwa in a tweet he shared on his page said that Uhuru has been paying goons to destroy property during the demonstrations. He then threatened to send him to the ICC so that he can pay for all the damages he has caused.
“Mr SPONSOR,You can’t get away with murder, mass displacement of citizens, massive looting of our economy ( Pandora papers)& now anarchy with bloodletting using your gangs & the same networks. It is COMING home, this time you will have NOBODY to defend you @IntlCrimCourt,” Ichungwa said while referring to former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
