What Musalia Said Infront of Ruto After Critics Commented on Recent Move by Section of Western MPs

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed alleged supremacy battle between him and the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula, few weeks after a section of Western MPs endorsed Wetangula as the Western Region kingpin.

Speaking in Bungoma County on Sunday during church service graced by President William Ruto and the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Musalia said Wetangula is his brother, and they are working in unity for the sake of the people of Western Region and Kenya at large.

“I want to reaffirm that I will work hand in hand with Wetangula so that we come together. Ladies and gentlemen, do not waste your ink, there is no supremacy battle between Wetangula and I.”

“Weta is the speaker, I have been appointed by the President as Prime CS, we have our responsibilities, let us serve our people, when we hunt, we hunt with Wetangula. When we get the prize, we share.”

“Wetangula and I brought the earthquake and we had faith that Ruto had the pulse of the country, he had it and got it right,” said Musalia.

On his part, Wetangula said Musalia is his friend, and they cannot differ as claimed by critics.

The leaders who attended the service implored upon all the elected leaders to join hands with President Ruto and the national government saying politics will be after the next four years, and citizens are now yearning for development.

Some went on to claim that the 2027 polls is a done deal, on claims that it would be hard for any leader to unseat Ruto, remarks seemingly directed to the opposition wing who are reportedly banking on Raila Odinga or Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
