Kitui governor Dr. Julius Malombe has risen up to develop the town to fit her municipality state. For a long time Kitui County has been left behind in development since the elected leaders do not focus much on the town but in other areas and sectors.
Promises are made each and every time during elections but after election nothing happens rather the leaders just benefit themselves. In this current time citizens are rising to question the performance of leadership in protest. Dr. Julius has at the same time taken the lead to do development in the county municipality.
Areas where water collects during rain and cause water lodge are now being fitted with concrete paving stones to eliminate mud and ease motorists movement.
It is a sad thing that all leaders do not forcus on development of their town headquarters which emensily tells the real picture of the county.
