News reaching our desk this afternoon,states that Raila Odinga is currently lossing influence in his backyard as President William Ruto continues with his quest to have more support from Luo Nyanza.
According to available sources of news, currently the Raila’s area Member of Parliament has declared unconstitutional support for William Ruto as he notes that he wants development in his region. The MP has been insisting that for development to be don in his region,then he must work closely with the National government. This is after Ruto’s move to have more leaders from Raila’s turf to join his camp.
Its now evident that soon enough,Ruto will outshine Raila in Luo Nyanza,and he might have massive supporters. This moves will tame Raila’s influence thus endangering his political ambitions.
We all can attest that,over the past few years, Azimio La Umoja Coalition boss Hon Raila Odinga has been garnering almost all the votes from Luo Nyanza region because of massive supporters he has. Things are now taking a new twist as leaders from the region seem to work with Ruto’s government.
However, Kenyans have a right to chose where they want to be and who they want to support. For that reason,they should not be divided by politics.
